Full Physical Exam
Within the framework of a full physical exam at Hadassah Medical we will assess your overall health and make sure you don’t have any serious conditions, including early detection of risk factors, cardiovascular diseases, malignant tumors, gynecological problems, vision problems, etc. It is with this expert, preventative check up that diseases and problems that may have a significant impact on your future quality of life can be detected.
Comprehensive physical exam in Ramat Gan
Hadassah Medical is located in the heart of the business district of Gush Dan, in Beit Gibor Sport, not far from the Ayalon Highway and within walking distance of the railway station. Types of comprehensive physicals
- Consultation with a specialist in internal medicine: a diagnostic interview, case history, family history, physical examination.
- Blood tests: complete blood count, blood differential test.
- Liver function test, including GPT, ALT: bilirubin, phosphatase; GGT, albumin, total protein, LDH, blood sugar level, triglycerides
- Lipemic index: cholesterol, LDL, HDL, TG
- Kidney function test: urea, creatinine
- Early detection of prostate cancer (PSA) (when indicated)
- Additional tests are made after a diagnostic consultation (for example, Glucose tolerance test to diagnose occult diabetes).
- Urinalysis: acidity (pH), red blood cells and white blood cells, sugar, total protein, nitrites, ketones, bile pigments
- Fecal occult blood testing for colon cancer screening (when indicated)
- Hearing test
- Eye exam: ophthalmic fundus examination, intraocular pressure, vision test
- Lung function test (spirometry): to help diagnose breathing problems
- Cardiological check: assessment of cardiac function, rest electrocardiography (ECG) and ergometry (exercise stress test)
- Personalized testing based on your age, gender, personal and family history, as well as the recommendations of the doctor. Among them: pelvic exam, breast inspection and palpation, cervical cancer screening: Pap and HPV tests, gynecological ultrasonography, etc.
- Dermatological examination: the opportunity to pass an examination with a dermatologist (for an extra fee). For dermatological examination an additional visit may be necessary.

- Dermatology exam: the opportunity to pass a skin exam (for an extra fee). For dermatology exam an additional visit may be necessary.
- A nutrition counseling session based on the outcome of the lab tests.
As part of this service, Hadassah Medical or Hadassah Ein Karem doctors will monitor your health for a year. The service is not applicable to the clinic of private medicine. Form 17 (a payment voucher from the Health Care Fund) or an extra fee for special tests is required.
The following tests may be performed in addition to the standard comprehensive exam (for an extra fee). Though a few of them are currently held only in Hadassah Ein Karem, our clinic in Ramat Gan will be expanding its service offerings to include them in the future.

Blood tests for diagnosing atherosclerosis and non-invasive vascular testing. Measurement of arterial wall thickness and ultrasound duplex scanning of head and neck vessels to prevent myocardial infarction and stroke.
